Wayne joined the staff in 2012 and served as Associate Pastor for 10 years. In 2023, the church called Wayne to serve as Lead Pastor.  He loves teaching the Bible and leading people to follow Jesus.  He holds a Master degree from Gateway Seminary (SBC) and a Bachelor degree from California Baptist University.  He is married to Jill and they have 2 children (Rachel and Timothy). Wayne is an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan and cheers his team on all season long. He also loves to spend time pursuing large salmon and trout on his fishing boat.

Dan joined the staff in 2022 and serves as our Assistant Pastor of Adult and Student Ministries. He is a native of Sacramento and holds a Bachelor degree in Christian Leadership from William Jessup University. He is married to Liz and they have 2 children (Boaz and Ben). Dan loves the San Francisco 49ers and looks forward to the day when he can see them in person again.  In his spare time, he loves to study world history, binge Star Wars shows on Disney +, and modify nerf blasters.

Michaela joined the staff in 2021 and serves as our Administrative Assistant.  She holds a Bachelor degree & Master degree in Business Administration from William Jessup University and is an ace with numbers.  She ensures that all the financial needs of the church are met with excellence and accuracy.  Michaela grew up here at First Baptist and serves in various ministries around the church.  In her spare time she loves to play bass guitar, sing, watch movies, sample ice cream, play board games, and cheer on the Chicago Cubs.

Liz stepped into the interim role at First Baptist Fair Oaks in June 2023. Having grown up in the area, after graduating from Fresno Pacific with a Liberal Studies degree Liz received her teaching credential from William Jessup University in 2011. Liz loves working with children of all ages and has been a children’s or youth volunteer at church since the earliest opportunity. Liz has been a classroom teacher for 7 years and currently is a homeschool charter teacher working with TK thru high school students. With two young boys at home, Liz and her husband Dan enjoy spending time together as a family watching movies or going on adventures.

Sara stepped into the lay position of Women’s Ministry Director at FBCFO in 2022.  Having worked several years in corporate marketing, she tracked off to raise her family and serve in the community. With a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Business Administration, Sara has volunteered and used her management and leadership skills in various nonprofit organizations. Excited to serve the women of First Baptist Fair Oaks, Sara hopes to help create an environment where women can study the Word, live in community with one another, and ultimately, glorify God. “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17

Joining our leadership team in 2022 and charged with the build up and oversight of the men's ministry at First Baptist Fair Oaks God has given Mark gifts of ministry which include teaching, valuable spiritual insight and discernment, an unapologetic faith in Jesus Christ, and a true shepherd's heart for building up Christ's body and seeking the lost.

Part of Mark's unique testimony includes God's restorative power at work in his own household—a family walking in faith, hope, and love with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: "If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?" 1 Timothy 3:5

Mark and his leadership team are dedicated to walking alongside men in their search towards being obedient to God's expectations of becoming loving, servant-leaders in their marriages, their homes, their church, their work environments and in their local community.
