Dan joined the staff in 2022 and serves as our Lead Pastor Pro Tem and Pastor of Adult & Student Ministries. A native of Sacramento he developed his leadership strategy while studying for a Bachelor degree in Christian Leadership from William Jessup University and is currently enrolled in the Masters In Theology program at Gateway Seminary. Together with his beautiful wife, Liz, they manage to wrangle their two healthy and energetic boys, Boaz (5) and Benjamin (2), while maintaining a balanced life of service and compassion. Dan is an avid world history connoisseur, and is captivated by all things Star Wars—even sneaking in a little Disney+ time to binge watch a few episodes of whatever the newest show is. Finally, Dan is a devoted San Francisco 49ers fan, and is crushed by the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime during the 2024 Superbowl. Dan's greatest desire is to see people come and have a saving relationship with Jesus and then learn to serve the Lord in whatever capacity. Bringing praise and Glory to the one who deserves it!

Joining our staff in 2021 Kevin serves as our Assistant Pastor of Worship & Arts and Digital Media Ministries. Holding a Master degree in Worship & Arts from California Baptist University and a Bachelor degree in Music Education from Florida State University School of Music. Passionate about leading people into a deeper relationship with Jesus through worship—his greatest joy is connecting with like-minded people who share the same space.

Our most recent staff addition, joining us in 2024, Adriana is part of our 'Healthy Family Initiative' to promote environments that lead to healthy family structure. 

Studying at Biola University to be an elementary school teacher, Adriana discovered that the topic she loves to teach the most is the Bible. Transferring her program to William Jessup University she completed her degree in Biblical and Theological Studies and connected her love for teaching the Bible with her love for teaching children. Her hope for Kids Ministry is to provide a space where kids know that they are known and loved for who they are by the volunteers but most importantly, by the Creator of everything – He loves them more than words can say. Kids Ministry’s goal is to partner with parents to help kids grow their own faith and become disciples of Jesus.

In any free time, you can find Adriana in a plant store adding to her large collection of houseplants, hanging out with her people (usually getting Dutch Bros), or binging documentaries on anything and everything.”

Michaela joined the staff in 2021 and serves as our Administrative Assistant.  She holds a Bachelors in Business-Marketing and a MBA from William Jessup University and is currently enrolled in the Masters in Educational Leadership program at Gateway Seminary.  She ensures that all the financial needs of the church are met with excellence and accuracy.  Michaela grew up here at First Baptist and serves in various ministries around the church.  In her spare time she loves to play bass guitar, sing, watch movies, sample ice cream, play board games, and cheer on the Chicago Cubs.

She goes by "Bre" and she joined our staff in 2020 and serves as our Ministry Assistant. She's the first face you see when you walk into the church office and the voice you hear on the phone. Bre does many of the jobs to make the office of FBCFO run. She is married to Augie and they have 2 beautiful daughters (Kaydence and Maya).  Bre is a dedicated to her family and loves sharing her joy of hiking, reading, game nights, and being on the water with her village.




Joining our leadership team in 2022 and charged with the build up and oversight of the men's ministry at First Baptist Fair Oaks God has given Mark gifts of ministry which include teaching, valuable spiritual insight and discernment, an unapologetic faith in Jesus Christ, and a true shepherd's heart for building up Christ's body to seek the lost.

Part of Mark's unique testimony includes God's restorative power at work in his own household—a family walking in faith, hope, and love with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: 

"If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church?" 1 Timothy 3:5

Mark and his leadership team are dedicated to walking alongside men in their search towards being obedient to God's expectations of becoming loving, servant-leaders in their marriages, their homes, their church, their work environments and in their local community. 

Sara stepped into the lay position of Women’s Ministry Director at FBCFO in 2022.  Having worked several years in corporate marketing, she tracked off to raise her family and serve in the community. With a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Business Administration, Sara has volunteered and used her management and leadership skills in various nonprofit organizations. Excited to serve the women of First Baptist Fair Oaks, Sara hopes to help create an environment where women can study the Word, live in community with one another, and ultimately, glorify God.
